The Valley Resort is an exclusive, nature-focused retreat located in a natural environment that includes wildlife and outdoor terrain. By making a reservation and/or completing a booking via this Website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as the Resort's Internal Regulations provided at check-in.
2. Scope of Services
Green Valley Resort Management & Hospitality SRL operates thevalley.ro to offer online booking and information services for hotel and resort accommodation. The Website enables guests to:
- Browse available rooms and services
- Make reservations online
- Process payments via credit/debit card, bank transfer, or cash on arrival
- Manage existing bookings
3. Booking and Reservation
3.1 A booking is confirmed upon receipt of a booking confirmation email from Green Valley Resort Management & Hospitality SRL.
3.2 You must be at least 18 years of age to make a booking.
3.3 You are responsible for providing accurate personal and payment information at the time of booking.
3.4 Availability is not guaranteed until a booking confirmation has been issued.
3.5 We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking at our sole discretion, in which case any amounts paid will be refunded in full.
4. Pricing and Payments
4.1 All prices are in Romanian Lei (RON) and/or Euro (EUR) and include applicable VAT unless otherwise stated.
4.2 We accept the following payment methods:
- Credit/debit card (online, via our secure payment provider)
- Bank transfer (payment instructions provided upon booking confirmation)
- Cash on arrival (subject to confirmation at time of booking)
4.3 Green Valley Resort Management & Hospitality SRL does not store your card details. Card payments are processed by a third-party payment provider via encrypted, secure channels.
4.4 Prices are subject to change without prior notice. The price confirmed at the time of reservation applies to your booking.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
5.1 Cancellation policies vary by rate type and room category and will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.
5.2 Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to contact@thevalley.ro.
5.3 In the event of a no-show, the full cost of the reservation may be charged.
5.4 Detailed cancellation terms will be displayed during the booking process and included in your confirmation email.
6. Check-in and Check-out
6.1 Check-in: From 3:00 PM. Check-out: By 11:00 AM.
6.2 Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability, and may incur additional charges.
6.3 A valid government-issued photo ID is required at check-in for all guests.
7. Resort Rules and Guest Conduct
By completing a booking, guests agree to comply with The Valley Resort's Internal Regulations provided at check-in. Key rules include:
- Quiet hours: 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Use of speakers, amplifiers, or sound-enhancing devices is strictly prohibited throughout the resort.
- All accommodation and facilities are exclusively for registered guests.
- Outside visitors are not permitted without prior approval and are not allowed on the premises between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
- Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas.
- Open flames (candles, bonfires, grills) are only permitted in designated areas.
- Pets are not allowed on the resort premises.
- Swimming in the resort lake is strictly prohibited.
- Outside food and beverages are not allowed in shared areas of the resort.
- Guests must not leave food or waste on terraces or outdoor furniture, as this may attract wildlife.
Violation of the resort regulations may result in a formal warning or termination of the guest's stay without a refund.
8. Outdoor Activities and Safety
The Valley Resort offers access to outdoor activities including biking, hiking, and nature walks. The resort is located in a natural environment where wildlife, including bears and other local animals, may be present. Guests participate in outdoor activities entirely at their own risk.
Guests engaging in outdoor activities are responsible for:
- Wearing appropriate clothing and footwear
- Carrying a charged mobile phone and flashlight when outdoors in the evening or early morning
- Staying on designated trails and paths
- Being aware of local wildlife and avoiding areas that may be home to bears or other wild animals
- Informing resort staff or a fellow guest before setting off on longer hikes
- Using bikes responsibly, following designated biking routes, and wearing safety gear
The resort does not assume responsibility for injuries or accidents occurring during outdoor activities.
9 Catering Service
The Valley Resort offers a door-to-door catering service delivering fresh, seasonal meals to your accommodation. Guests are kindly asked not to leave food leftovers on terraces or outdoor furniture, as this may attract wildlife and disturb the natural surroundings.
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1 To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Romanian and EU law, Green Valley Resort Management & Hospitality SRL shall not be liable for:
- Loss or theft of personal belongings on the property
- Accidents, injuries, or incidents during outdoor activities, use of pools, jacuzzi, saunas, the playground, or other resort facilities
- Incidents involving wildlife on or around the resort
- Indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Website
- Technical interruptions or errors on the Website
10.2 The use of resort facilities (jacuzzi, pools, saunas) is at the guest's own risk.
10.3 Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
11. Force Majeure
Green Valley Resort Management & Hospitality SRL shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations where such failure results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, pandemics, government restrictions, or acts of terrorism.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on this Website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Green Valley Resort Management & Hospitality SRL and is protected under applicable copyright law. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Romanian law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Romania.
14. Changes to These Terms
